This charming 17th century stone house available for holiday rentals is situated in a peaceful hamlet - Les Séraillères - in the picturesque Vienne valley. It offers self-catering accommodation with local shops and restaurants.  Whilst the tranquillity of the village enables a relaxing holiday, the location is such that just a short drive opens the opportunities of the area & all its activities.

The house itself, is said to have been built for the local noblemen in the late 1600s, with the attached property being built during the 1800s. The site itself has been around far longer with a stone table that is found in the garden that was used in a place of worship, by pre-Christian settlers. The pond in the front garden (fenced off for safety) was used to keep fish that had been caught locally until they were needed. The large beams, wattle & daub walls and large fireplace found within the property, all show the fantastic age of the house.
The self-catering property is spacious and sleeps six people in comfort.
The 10m x 5m pool is terraced and catches the sun almost all day long.
For summer lets, there is a large fenced garden with terrace and lawn including some shady areas.
For winter lets there is a log burner in the lounge & electric radiators in all rooms.
Discounts available for stays of over 4 weeks if house-hunting
